Woodbridge Hill Glass Studio Bird Making Workshop
Eve Howard - Bird workshop
Woodbridge Hill Glass Studio Saturday 6 September 2014 9:30am – 3:00pm
Eve Howard has kindly offered to come and teach a workshop at the top of the Woodbridge Hill and share her skills at creating ceramic birds. She is going to help each of us to create our own special bird.
Ruth Downham has her studio (Woodbridge Hill Glass) at Woodbridge Hill Hideaway and while building a new studio thought this was a chance while the space is changing to indulge in this fantastic opportunity.
Eve has two workshops; one is for ‘gulls’ and the other for ‘penguins’. She has done enough workshops now that she likes to separate the two because they are two different technique styles and it’s easier on her. If you can imagine that the gulls are all the sitting birds, ducks, oystercatchers etc. and penguins and owls more upright birds.
When enrolling please indicate which bird style is your preferred, if there is enough interest we may be able to convince Eve to do two workshops. Please check out Eve’s great website www.evehoward.com
Numbers: 6-10 people.
Course covers clay, tools, and paints etc.
*Please bring your own bird pictures, rolling pin, apron and lunch (clay tools if you have).
